Daniel
Spector (dspector@spectorweir.com)
graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science with highest honors from the University of
California at Davis. Thereafter, Dan graduated with a
Juris Doctorate from the Santa Clara University School
of Law. Dan’s practice focuses on trust and probate
litigation. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator
of trust and probate disputes. In 2010, Dan was named as
a SuperLawyer by his peers for Northern California in
the area of Trust and Estate Litigation. He is included
in the Sacramento Superior Court’s list of approved
mediators qualified to mediate trust and estate
disputes. Dan is a member of the California State Bar
Association’s Section of Probate, Trust and Estate
Planning, the Sacramento County Bar Association of
Probate, Trust and Estate Planning, and serves as a
Judge Pro-Tem in the Sacramento Superior Court. Dan has
lectured at U.C. Davis, before the CCLSA and the
California Society of Certified Public Accountants on
the topics of civil litigation and trust and probate
litigation. He has served as Board Chair for several
non-profit organizations throughout Sacramento,
including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento.
